One of the questions most often asked is “Will this hurt ?” A lot of people seem to be apprehensive about this treatment. The truth is at No9 there is no need to be.

Root canals should not be painful when done properly, as the nerve is no longer in the tooth. We use the latest techniques and instruments to ensure a successful outcome. Almost all are done in one visit, including the permanent restoration. Often people put up with long-term niggles and pain because they are worried that root-canal treatment will be worse. In fact it is a pain-free long-lasting solution which can avoid tooth discolouration, and painful abscesses.
