Omnichroma- a new material for a natural-look restoration.

We love trying the latest materials, to see if they can improve the work we do. Recently we have been trying a new composite (white filling material) which has very clever properties to mimic the colour of the natural tooth being restored. This smile was transformed with the addition of some of this very new clever colour changing composite, Omnichroma. There are two parts one part blocks the light transmission and the other part let the light through. Which means we can mimic the natural translucencies of teeth and make our restorations almost disappear. A smile transformed, removing as little of the natural tooth as possible.
