Smile Test Drive

An essential part of designing your new smile is trying the design in your mouth.

Before we get to this stage we have photographed, measured and chatted about what type of smile you want.

Moulds are taken and then we ask our technician to create in wax your idealised smile. With this wax template we can play with length, shapes symmetry and balance to create a bespoke solution for you, as we look together at the design.

We then take a mould of the wax design proposal and copy this with a liquid plastic onto your natural teeth. After a few minutes the mold can be removed and the design proposal is now ready for your to view. Seeing and feeling the new size and shape of your teeth can allow you to make really clear decisions about how your final restorations will look. We can photograph you from any angle and you can try whatever facial expressions you would like!

In this picture we have removed one side of the design proposal. You can imagine how much this smile is going to change.

The benefit of doing the wax design proposal is that you get the see the teeth and personalise the design. You can be sure they fit with your face and personality.
