Fixing broken teeth has always been a large part of what we do.
But with current guidelines we have had to change some of the ways we manage this. We have had to increase the PPE we used to wear. We have also had to increase the ventilation and air purification to keep patients and staff safe.
Everyone talks about ‘the new normal’ and we are finding our way there. Patients are using hand sanitiser and wearing masks outside the surgeries. Most treatments take more time and preparation, but it is great to see the same positive results in the end. Unfortunately those on reception don’t get to see as much change when patients are wearing masks!
But we are so glad to be able to fix teeth again. We solved many patients problems after lockdown. It has been so good to help those in pain or missing teeth to feel better.
Having seen so many patients needing treatment we are aware that a lot of people who would have needed small fillings now need larger ones, or even root treatments and extractions. This is a result of missing routine visits or not being able to be treated earlier. We see patients now as soon as we can to stop future, larger treatments being needed.
You may still be concerned about receiving dental treatment. We cannot eliminate all risks of Coronavirus, but we have minimised them as much as we can. We feel safe working and would love to help anyone in pain or discomfort who would like treatment.
The treatments we are providing continue to be of as high a standard as before.
If you need a broken tooth fixed please get in touch and we will help you get back to dental health as quickly and safely as we can.
