I have always loved my dentistry, particularly learning new techniques which allow me to give people more options of how their teeth can be treated. I love natural teeth and the challenge to restore the broken ones to look just as fantastic. I continue to train to the highest standards and regularly train others too. This means I can offer patients the widest range of treatments.
I have been working here at No9 for well over 10 years as a dental nurse and Care-coordinator. I like to look after patients and make their journey through treatment the best it can be. Seeing a happy confident smile makes me smile! Familiar faces returning over the years also gives me great satisfaction, in knowing that what we do lasts and really does make a difference. There is always something new to learn and someone new to meet.
As a nurse here I love being part of the transformation a new smile can bring. I think my other favourite thing is helping nervous patients to overcome their fears. My aim is to make your visits to us as relaxed and enjoyable as possible.
After being a dental nurse for 10 years i decided to train to become a Hygiene Therapist. I have progressed in the career I love and get great satisfaction from solving patients’ problems, helping them towards better health and making them look great!
I look forward to welcoming you to the practice as the receptionist at No9. Every patient is different an I enjoy being the first person people speak to when they contact the practice. Whether this is by phone, in person or by email I always enjoy finding out how we can help you
I am usually in the background trying to ensure everything is running well. Regular staff meetings allow us to look after patients better- we are always looking for ways to develop and improve what we do and to encourage this in each other. We have an amazing team and their attitude in looking after people is fantastic- I see my job as encouraging them to keep their enthusiasm high.
I love chatting with patients and helping them find the best treatments. Having the role of both a nurse and Care-coordinator I have the time to talk about and explain treatments fully. When patients are not rushed it helps them relax and they can make the best decisions. I also get to know them better which is great!
When you walk through the door I will often be there to greet you. I enjoy welcoming people in and also keeping the appointments running smoothly.
