Making the gums look right…

The more Aesthetic work you do the more you realise the importance of the pink. By the pink I mean the gum tissue.

The teeth can look great but if the pink is off then the whole case can look off.

There is an actual index to score the of pink and white aesthetics called the PES/WES score. This allows you to put a numerical value next to how how nice the pink and white looks.

This is probably the best text book I have come across on Pink aesthetics. If Carslberg did a book on pink aesthtics this would be it. Packed full of photos, drawings, illustations and detailed text on how to diagnose manage various pink problems.
